The bundle suits individuals and teams preparing to deploy Proxmox or take over its administration. It connects everyday guest administration with cluster behaviour during failures, rather than selecting an isolated topic to address an immediate issue.

Course content
Part one: independent server administration
Start with installation and day-to-day operation. Explore networking and storage, the VM and LXC lifecycle, migration preparation, backup and restore, permissions and firewall rules. Establish consistent change verification before moving on to clustering.
Part two: multiple nodes, data and availability
Continue with shared administration and cluster decisions. Connect shared storage and Ceph to guest migration, replication and HA. During simulated failures, assess the control plane, data and service operation separately.
Connecting the practical work
Reassess the first part’s configuration from a multi-server perspective: will the guest retain access to its network and disk after moving? Which dependencies are local and which can be shared? Which protection mechanism helps after a failure and which after an incorrect change?
The aim is a consistent approach to reasoning and verification. Practice in a training environment is not an acceptance test for your production system; that must be planned for its specific architecture.

No. The Bundle connects two consecutive official courses into one learning path: Deployment and Management, followed by Clustering and Shared Storage. It covers the complete curriculum of both courses over 28 teaching hours. Start with core administration and progress to multi-node infrastructure, shared storage and high availability.
Yes. Experience with another virtualization platform is a good starting point. The course focuses on Proxmox VE principles and administration, including differences that affect guest operation. Basic virtualization knowledge is expected; familiarity with IP addressing, gateways and server administration is recommended. It is not a complete introduction to Linux or networking.
The official prerequisite is completion of Deployment and Management. The follow-on course does not repeat the entire foundation and focuses on multi-node environments. If you have extensive experience but have not completed the first course, discuss a suitable route with us before registering; we do not promise an automatic exception.
Choose a date in the registration form on the course page. For individual or team training, contact us with the number of participants, their experience and your preferred period. We will prepare a proposal and agree on the dates, teaching language and delivery format to suit your needs.
Failure exercises should not be performed on your production systems. Practical work is intended for safely checking procedures in an isolated training environment. Computer, connectivity and lab-access requirements will be provided for each scheduled course. Please do not send production credentials in advance.
The stated duration describes teaching time, not a fixed calendar schedule. Full-day or shorter blocks, breaks and the time zone will be specified for each scheduled course. Until the timetable is available, course duration alone is not enough to plan travel or book accommodation.
Training builds knowledge and provides practice. Assessment of your specific infrastructure, an implementation plan, downtime and responsibility for deployment are separate services. We can follow up with consulting, an environment review or a migration.
The training-environment version will be stated alongside each scheduled course. Explanations will distinguish general principles from version-specific behaviour. The version number is therefore not part of the course name or intended URL.
