Our role consisted mainly of technical management and architecture: we designed suitable solutions and integration procedures and carried out key PoCs. From the very beginning, the implementation was carried out together with the customer’s internal teams: we planned together, implemented key parts, and continuously validated the results.
From the outset, the common goal was to actively involve Alza not only in the project, but also technically — we continuously transferred our know-how in the form of workshops and certified training courses. Our role thus naturally shifted to activities with higher added value: expanding monitoring coverage (new integration scenarios, metrics, and notifications across infrastructure and business processes) and targeted interventions in the architecture with an emphasis on scalability, high availability, and resilience to outages.
As a result, Alza now has robust monitoring of its infrastructure, sales processes, and warehouses, as well as a functional early warning system that automatically delivers key information to the responsible persons. The solution is designed as high-availability (HA) and is one of the critical elements of their infrastructure.
